WRONG ANSWERS ONLY is an interactive show featuring celebrity guests who play games and quizzes while learning about exciting research with the help of a scientific expert.

THE HOST 

Chris Duffy is a comedian and writer who hosts the TED podcast HOW TO BE A BETTER HUMAN, which premiered this year as the #3 podcast in the country. Chris wrote on both seasons of WYATT CENAC’S PROBLEM AREAS on HBO, executive produced by John Oliver, and writes the popular weekly newsletter BRIGHT SPOTS. Chris’ writing has been featured in The New Yorker, The Boston Globe, National Geographic Glimpse, Makeshift Magazine, and The California Sunday Magazine.

THE EXPERT 

When biologist Wes Larson is not crawling through 50ft bear dens, he’s talking on science panels around the world.  Both academic and nomadic, Wes dedicates his life to the research and conservation of bears, from Polar to black bears in  the Arctic to America.

THE PANEL 

Josh Gondelman is a writer and comedian who incubated in Boston before moving to New York City, where he currently lives and works as a writer and producer for Desus & Mero on Showtime. Previously, he spent five years at Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, first as a web producer and then as a staff writer where he earned four Emmy Awards, two Peabody Awards, and three WGA Awards.  As of 2019, he has become a regular panelist on NPR mainstay Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me.

Zhubin Parang is a multiple Emmy-award-winning Supervising Producer and Writer for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Several years ago, he drew on his past career as a lawyer to create a web series for Comedy Central called Approach The Bench.

Chrissy Shackelford was born in Dallas, Texas where she was raised by Blockbuster, television, and teen magazines. She is currently a staff writer on the HBO series, Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas.
